Structural Sensibility

Paintings by Brenda Cirioni

JULY 13 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2017

Having grown up on the dead-end dirt roads of a small coastal village, the natural world acts as inspiration for Brenda Cirioni’s work. Much of her art explores the tension between nature and the elements, and speaks about power, grace and transformation in a world of uncertainty.

Cirioni uses bits of discarded paper, wrappers, fabric and various oddments in her art to feed into the cycle of renewal and give new life to trash that would otherwise occupy a landfill. Landscapes serve as the subject matter of her artwork and depict her connection to the natural world as she tries to make sense of life.

Cirioni's work will be on display in The Art Gallery at North Hill from July 13th to September 30th.

Join us for an Artist’s Reception as we celebrate the opening of Cirioni’s new exhibit, Structural Sensibility, at The Art Gallery at North Hill.
