George Peterman was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2016. Mr. Peterman’s involvement with North Hill began in 2015 as a member of the Board of Advisors. Like many of the Trustees of North Hill, George serves on a number of Board sub-committees. Currently, he is serving on the Finance, Human Resources, and Executive Committees.
Mr. Peterman built a 40+ year career in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development before retiring from the corporate world in 2013. During that time, he held a number of senior management roles inside both large and small companies, as well as spending many years building and managing consulting businesses. His high tech industry experiences include the Homeland and Commercial Security, information technology, biotechnology, computer hardware and software development sectors. He has also consulted to human services and health care non-profit organizations. Mr. Peterman’s experience as a corporate executive, human resource consultant and business entrepreneur are the basis of his integrated approach to applying the art and science of Human Resource Management to achieve practical business results and his past corporate affiliations include American Science and Engineering, King and Bishop Human Resource Consultants, AML Management Consulting, Honeywell Information Systems, Data General Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Manufacturing Data Systems.
Mr. Peterman is a graduate of Princeton University.
In addition to his work at North Hill, George is engaged in teaching, consulting and volunteer work in change management, clean energy and sustainability.
