The North Hill Woodshop offers qualified residents the equipment needed to take on everything from small repair jobs and craft projects to fine furniture building. It’s a place where the experienced craftsman and the beginner can share the pleasures of working with wood.
The spacious, well-lit main workroom is equipped with essential, up-to-date power tools, including a band saw, jig saw, drill press, jointer-planer, thickness planer, router table, sanders and grinders. A SawStop table saw is one of the key safety features in the shop.
Small power tools as well as traditional hand tools are within easy reach of the numerous work benches.
A separate room provides dedicated spaces for working on small, delicate long-term projects such as model ships and boats.
In all, a well-equipped resource for the North Hill Resident who wants to continue a life-long passion for wood-working or wants to explore a new pastime.

Our new ceramic studio is flooded with natural light and ready for you to get your hands dirty while having some fun!
We have 4 potter wheels, one is an adaptive wheel with height adjustment capabilities. The other equipment: a slab roller, tables for hand building, a pugmill kiln.
