Sarah Creed Schmidt was elected to the Board of Advisors in 2018.
Ms. Creed Schmidt serves on the Building and Grounds and Health Care Committees. She also served on the professional advisory committee for Home Health at North Hill from 2015-2018. She is the Director of Nursing at Good Shepherd Community Hospice. She oversees the nursing department at the hospice, and is involved in clinical operations and developing policy and procedure as it relates to patient care. Ms. Creed Schmidt has been working with Good Shepherd for over six years.
Ms. Creed Schmidt began her healthcare career as a Personal Care Assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. After graduating from nursing school, Ms. Creed Schmidt obtained a position as Clinical Nurse at the same hospital. During her tenure, she worked in several areas including interventional cardiology, trauma intensive care, thoracic surgery and solid organ transplant and medicine. Feeling a need to incorporate a more holistic approach in her practice and have more time at the bedside, Ms. Creed Schmidt pursued a role as a hospice nurse. She has been working in hospice for nine years.
In addition to her passion for end-of-life care, Ms. Creed Schmidt is also an advocate for quality women’s health. She volunteers at a women’s health organization in her spare time. Ms. Creed Schmidt has worked with Promising Pals as a pen pal to a middle school student in Roxbury for the past two years. Ms. Creed Schmidt also volunteers at Simmons College, providing mock interviews and serving on health care informative panels.
Ms. Creed Schmidt has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College.
Richard (Rick) Davis became a North Hill Advisor in April 2016 and was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2017 and serves on the Finance, Health Care and Investment Committees.
Mr. Davis is retired from his position of 30 years as CEO of Provider Insurance Group, an independent insurance agency.
He has been a Town Meeting Member for 30 years and is also a Director of the Needham Historical Society. He has been a Trustee and former Board Chair of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham, past President of the Needham Rotary Club, and former Director and Chair of the Needham Community Council.
Mr. Davis currently serves on the Board of Directors of Connecticut Community Bank and the Bay State Agents Captive Insurance Company.
Mr. Davis is a graduate of Colby College and received his CLU and CPCU designations from the American College.
David Dinwoodey has been a Board member of North Hill since 2012. Mr. Dinwoodey’s involvement with North Hill began in 2011 as a member of the Board of Advisors. He serves on the Finance, Investment, Building & Grounds and Executive Committees.
David is an attorney with a 40-person business law firm on route 128 in Waltham, specializing in business finance. During his long career, he has practiced law with the Federal government, with a national real estate developer, and as a Partner for several decades at a large downtown Boston firm.
As a long-time resident of Wellesley, Mr. Dinwoodey has served on a number of town boards and committees over the years, and has also taught business law as an adjunct lecturer at Babson College.
Mr. Dinwoodey received his Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University, his MBA from Columbia University Business School, and his JD from Columbia University Law School.
Paul Grazewski was elected to the Board of Advisors in April of 2018. He serves on the HCBS and Marketing Committees.
Paul has over 40 years of management experience encompassing a broad range of strategic and operational roles in large and small companies. From 2002-2015 Paul was with American Science and Engineering where he held executive positions in Strategic Planning, Product Management, Marketing and Program Management. While with AS&E Paul led the development and commercialization of technology driven products for critical security applications. He was also responsible for strategic planning and mergers & acquisitions.
Prior to joining AS&E Mr. Grazewski held program management positions at Alcatel, General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin. He started his career at General Electric where he completed the Corporate Manufacturing Management Program and went on to serve in operational and program management positions in the Aircraft Engine and Aerospace divisions.
Mr. Grazewski started his own consulting practice in 2015 and advises clients in the areas of Strategy, Product Management and M&A. Paul is a member of the Northeastern University McCarthy venture mentoring network where he provides guidance to student entrepreneurs. He also volunteers with the Salute Military Golf Association, providing golf experiences to wounded veterans.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MBA from Xavier University, Cincinnati OH.
Kevin Grimes became a North Hill Advisor in 2017 and was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2018. Mr. Grimes serves on the Finance and Marketing Committees and is Chair of the Investment Committee.
Mr. Grimes is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Grimes & Company, Inc., one of the country’s leading Registered Investment Advisory Firms. His professional role includes determining the strategic direction of the company, leading the Investment Team and Executive Council, as well as serving clients of the firm.
Mr. Grimes is an active alumnus of Babson College and has earned the CFA® and Certified Financial Planner™ designations.
Mr. Grimes also sits on the board of the American Red Cross and is an active member of The Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS).
