Inspired by the natural beauty and brilliance of the constellation Lyra, Ensemble Lyra brings together five highly talented musicians. While each shines as a soloist, together these women form deep connections in performing duets, trios and quartets.
For Thee We Sing, honors the military service of all men and women in uniform, their families, and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Join us and these five lovely performers for an afternoon of music, memory and grateful tribute to all who have served.
Join Actor, writer, director, storyteller Johnny Kinsman for an illustrated reading of Charles Dickens’ beloved novella A Christmas Carol. Illustrated with slides and animated by Kinsman’s vivid portrayal of each character, this hour of storytelling in Decebmer will usher in the season “when men and women seem by one consent to open their shuttered hearts freely.”
Kinsman designed this abridged reading of Dickens’ most famous story because he has loved it since he was a child. “I feel like my soul is refreshed every time I read it,” he says.”it’s a feeling I want to share with everyoneone I meet.”
So come make merry with Dickens, KInsman and Tiny Tim this December. “God Bless us every one.”
Join Concert Pianist Fred Moyer in a winter concert to warm a cold December. Fred began his studies at age seven with his mother Betsy. His career spans 35 years and many conttinents. He has performed at Carnegie Recital Hall, Tanglewood and the Kennedy Center among other distinguished venues.
