Mr. Maw was a member of the original leadership team that opened North Hill in 1984 and now serves as Executive Director, responsible for overseeing North Hill operations. Mr. Maw has served in various roles including Dining Services Director and Associate Director. Mr. Maw has provided consulting services to Life Care Services and other retirement communities in the Boston area and was instrumental in successfully developing the first networking coalition for department directors of area retirement communities.
Mr. Maw received his MS in Management from Bridgewater State College and a BS in Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s College in Maine. He served as an adjunct faculty member teaching Business Management at Stonehill College and has presented at multiple conferences and seminars. Mr. Maw has been at North Hill since 1984.
Mr. Peters came to North Hill during Project True North to help develop the operations and program for the soon to be added Enhanced Independent Living households- Vista Terrace. He has led the operations and marketing of Vista Terrace since its opening in November of 2014. Mr. Peters professional career began with a start-up company in the healthcare field followed by management and corporate operations positions with a national retail chain before finding his passion supporting seniors. He has been the co-chair of the MetroWest Alzheimer’s Partnership since 2013.
Mr. Peters received his BS in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has been at North Hill since 2013.
Mr. Roy began his career at North Hill in January 2013 as Controller of the Finance Team. He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer two years later. As CFO, Mr. Roy is a member of the executive team and responsible for the oversight of the Finance and Information Technology operations. Mr. Roy works closely with the Trustee Finance, Investment and Audit Committees as well as the Resident Finance Committee.
Prior to joining the North Hill team, Mr. Roy served as Chief Financial Officer at Dedham Country and Polo Club for eight years and Director of Finance at Children’s Hospital for three years. Mr. Roy holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received his CPA certification in 1990. Mr. Roy is a member of LeadingAge Massachusetts.
Mr. Roy lives in Boston with his wife, Paula, of 31 years. They have two grown children, Drew, who resides in Denver, Colorado, and Jessie, who lives in Sterling, Virginia. Mr. Roy is an avid golfer, enjoys traveling, and is a major fan of all Boston sports teams.
