Joe Frias, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Frias joined North Hill in 2017 as Administrator of Pines Edge Health Center with growth into the role of Director of Healthcare in 2019, Executive Director in 2021 and President and CEO in 2023. As President and CEO, he sets and executes the vision and strategic direction of North Hill Communities, Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Prior to joining North Hill, Mr. Frias served as the Executive Director of multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities and led the turnaround of several health centers.

Mr. Frias began his work career as a dishwasher and a dietary aide in a hospital, later becoming a geriatric fitness trainer, a dining services director and a healthcare administrator.

He currently serves as a Trustee on the Board of Directors of LeadingAge Massachusetts. Other civic service experience includes various town rotary clubs and chamber of commerce officer roles.

Mr. Frias holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Framingham State University, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Healthcare Administration and Management from Salve Regina University. He is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and holds certification in Lean Six Sigma.
