PAST EVENT Holiday Sing with Rene Pfister

Holiday Sing with Rene Pfister   Monday, November 28th at 11 AM

Rene Pfister’s performance of Broadway songs last spring was so popular that our audience demanded we bring him back right away.  Since we always aim to please we were happy to comply.  He’ll be on North Hill’s keys again to warm the November chill with music, humor and lots good cheer.  Come join this multi-talented composer/musician as we usher in a happy winter season.

As Artistic Director of the Berklee Theater Arts Collaborative, Rene has created a training program with Berklee faculty dedicated to the success of new musical theater writer/performers. As a member of the voice faculty at The Berklee College of Music, he teaches classes in musical theater, acting, and directs The Musical Theater Ensemble and The Theater for Young Audiences Ensemble

Rene graduated cum laude from Berklee College. He has acted, music directed, and directed regionally in New England and New York and appeared on stage in the 30th Anniversary European Tour of Hair and in Oh, Figaro! with The National Theater of the Deaf’s U.S. touring company. He recently created the one person show, “What I learned from years of therapy…if anything” which performed to sold-out audiences throughout New England.

Rene has worked throughout The U.S., India, Africa, and China, at peace conferences, colleges, summer camps, and schools to teach and perform his unique brand of music and theater. A multi-instrumentalist, he was the violinist, keyboardist, and vocalist in the folk duo BROTHER BLISS and the quartet THE BROADWAY UNDERGROUND in New York City as well as the front man/violinist.
