Where your PurposeFull Living unfolds

From the Art Studio and greenhouse to the state-of-the-art fitness center and renovated pool – opportunities to promote healthy and active senior living are abundant at North Hill.

Creative Arts Center at North Hill

The Creative Arts Center is on the lower level of WellSpring Landing, comprised of several multi-disciplinary areas:

  • An Art Studio (oil painting, pastels, watercolors and more)
  • Woodworking shop
  • A Garden Room adjacent to the Greenhouse.

And to be sure that the creative output of North Hill residents and team members gets its proper recognition and can be enjoyed by all, a Creative Gallery is at the core of the studio cluster. The Creative Arts Center provides a springboard for residents to explore their artistic passions, to uncover unexplored talents andto be a place of learning and appreciation of the arts and the creative spirit.

North Hill’s Creative Arts Center and Fitness Center encompass 16,500 square feet of space. Each square foot is dedicated to learning, to all the dimensions of wellness and to expressions of the creative spirit – the hallmarks of PurposeFULL Living.

State of the Art-Fitness

It doesn’t matter how you like to move, it only matters that you do! In North Hill’s fitness center we have programs and people who will make you want to come back every day, why? Because you’ll know when you leave you’ll feel better than you did when you arrived!

Trained fitness experts will design a personalized program just for you. Choose from programs for mind and body that include yoga, aquatic exercises and games; Pilates; Zumba; meditation; walking; lectures on nutrition and wellness, and a “passion board,” where residents can engage with healthy activities that ignite their personal passions. You can even “Paws for Fitness” and give your four-legged friends a good workout too!

And..as the only CCRC in the area with groundbreaking HUR* equipment, you can be sure to maintain muscle mass and good balance as part of a healthy aging plan

All of our programs are designed to ensure a good mind-body connection, and a healthy, active lifestyle.

*Helsinki Unviersiry Research (HUR) equipment was designed especially for seniors who want to stay strong as they age. After an initial assessment of balance deficits, trainers can customize programs using the embedded software in the machines. Residents can then simply insert their smart-card when it’s time to work out. The unique air resistant technology eliminates pressure on joints and allows for smooth, uninterrupted movement in weight training.
